TELLEMALIE (8) is a two-start maiden who finished fifth, beaten 3.5 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5f at Gosford. Drawn to enjoy a nice trail just off the pace. Sure to be competitive. MERCHANT SPEED (2) turned in another moderate effort last start when 1.3 lengths from the winner in fifth over 7f at Nowra. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
