MAXANDUS (2) was leading on the turn and fought on to finish third over 4½f at Gunnedah at his latest appearance. Should be prominent from the outset. Best form puts him right in this. BYLONG (6) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 10 lengths back in 12th over 6f128yards at Dubbo. Well placed and should be tough to rein in. BONOYSTER (4) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 4½f at Muswellbrook, beaten 4. 5 lengths. Finds a more suitable contest and can find winning form. FLAMBOYANT LAD (1) is back from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months and does go well when fresh, including a win to launch last campaign over 6f122yards at Geelong. Sure to make his presence felt.
