TOMOE GOZEN (8) was a winner last time over 5f at this track and re-unites with Scott Sweedman who steered on that occasion. Significant weight drop this time so another bold showing is expected. KANTISHNA (1) has been thereabouts lately without being able to break through, the latest effort a third at Quirindi over 5f. Has a win and two minor placings from four starts at this track and distance. Should be competitive. MASTER GEE (7) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when sixth over 5½f at Armidale after being prominent at the turn. Placed to advantage and can run a better race.
