CANNY PROSPECT (4) drifted well back last start before storming home to score by 1.1 lengths over 5f at Port Macquarie. Commendable record at this trip with a win and six minor placings and shapes as one to consider. NOT WRITTEN OFF (2) finished third at Scone two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 4½f at Newcastle, finishing 3.5 lengths back in eighth. Nicely placed to bounce back.
