IT'S A WRITTEN (5) returned last time with a solid second at Armidale over 5½f. Suitably placed to crack the maiden win. STEEL CLAWS (1) could only manage second as favourite last start over 1m at this track after being in the firing line on the corner, making it three minor placings from five starts this campaign. Sure to be competitive. PAPPIANA (7) finished 3 lengths from the winner in fifth at her most recent outing over 1m at Wyong. Suited in this line up and is among the better hopes.
