JOANNESKI (4) finished second at Wauchope two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 5f at Taree, finishing 4.5 lengths back in sixth after being in contention on the bend. Ideally placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. CALLIE COOL (3) lines up on the back of a 4.5 lengths fourth over 4½f at Gunnedah. Best form puts her right in this. SATURDAY GLORY (7) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing sixth at Muswellbrook over 7¼f. Finds a nice race and can get the job done. CALMUNDI (5) finished 3.4 lengths back from the winner last start at Dubbo and is down in weight this time. Not to be discounted.
