JUSTIFIABLY (8) could only manage fifth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1m3f at Scone, beaten only one length after being in the firing line on the bend. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. MAMMOTH MOUNTAIN (5) travelled in a rearwards position then made some inroads and finished 5.5 lengths away in seventh last time out over 7½f at Warwick two-and-a-half weeks ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Generally performs well here and has registered three minor placings. Bold showing expected. MERAPI (7) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at Taree. Less impressive last time out when fourth over 1m2 1/2f at this track, beaten 6 lengths. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. NATURE BOY (1) turned in a mediocre run last time out over 1m2 1/2f at this track after a nice win the start prior. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
