GULF OF TOMINI (2) was a dominant winner last time over 1m2 1/2f at Gosford, getting home by 2.5 lengths. Will find this a little easier than last time. Well placed so expecting a strong run. AIMPOINT (3) is close to a win after a string of minor placings, the latest when second over 1m2f at Hawkesbury when he was handy all the way. Must raise the bar but another big run is on the cards. FINE EXAMPLE (5) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 7 lengths when 12th over 1m1/2f at Scone a week-and-a-half ago. Goes up a rung or two but she is good enough to turn the recent form around. NORMAN (8) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when fourth over 1m1 1/2f at Armidale. Well placed and can play a prominent role.
