MEGACLES (1) finished sixth when resuming two runs back then did a good job last start but found one better over 1m1/2f at this track, beaten only 1. 5 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. THIRSTED (8) finished 8 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 1m1/2f at this track, an improvement on his fifth at Aqueduct the run before. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. HOTTER THAN DEM (11) was out of the money two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 1m1/2f at Gulfstream Park All Weather, beaten 10 lengths into sixth. Well placed to make amends.
