REBEL EMPIRE (4) has been racing well and is poised to break through after seven minor placings in a row, the latest when third over 5½f at Finger Lakes (Dirt). Likely to play a major role. BELTS 'N BROOKS (8) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when ninth over 1m at Delaware Park (Dirt). Hard to beat in this suitable race.
