CANTAFIO (13) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 5 lengths when sixth in a 6f contest at this track a week-and-a-half ago. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. RAN THE RED (6) could only manage eighth when resuming at this track two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 6f at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. LUCKY FLAY (9) started at 15/8 last time and ran below expectations, finishing seventh and beaten 6 lengths at this track (Dirt) over 5½f after being prominent at the corner. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. WINNING SHOT (7) is a two-start maiden who returned last time and finished fifth at this track (Dirt) over 5½f, beaten 5 lengths. Definite top-three hope with plenty of improvement to come.
