Race Tip

SHAL EXCEED (6) made late ground and finished 6 lengths from the winner in seventh last start over 7f at Mildura, an improvement on his 11th at Bendigo the run before. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. KAMAROOKA (5) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Echuca, finishing third and only 1. 2 lengths from the winner at the end of 1m after being in contention on the corner. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. TUDAYA (3) is fitter for two runs back from a lay-off, progressing nicely last time to finish fourth, beaten 1. 2 lengths, at Werribee over 1m. Will find this a little easier than last time. Well placed and should be in the finish. DON'TCALLMECHAMP (4) improved sharply last time out to score by one length over 1m at Wodonga three weeks ago. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
