BARNAGE (1) raced in town last time and missed the frame, finishing fifth at Caulfield Heath and beaten 2. 25 lengths. Should enjoy the significant drop in grade. Will be hard to stop. SURPRISATIC (2) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was never in contention over 5f152yards at Geelong, beaten 4 lengths into fifth. Worth noting Christine Puls goes aboard. Finds a nice race and can turn things around. FACTUALLY (13) doesn't have the best strike rate but ran a strong race when resuming from a lay-off last time out over 5f at Yarra Valley, finishing second and beaten half a length after being in contention on the bend. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. MISTAVAIN (4) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on October 5, finishing ninth and beaten 8 lengths over 5½f at Bendigo. Definite top-three chance.
