GENTEEL (6) settled well back last start and never threatened when 16 lengths from the winner in 12th over 1m3/4f at Geelong. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. GIFT OF ORATORY (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m2 1/2f at Ballarat Synthetic, beaten 8 lengths into seventh after being in the firing line on the bend. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. BANNERTON (5) finished third at this track two runs back but was less effective last time over 1m2f at Mildura, finishing 11 lengths back in eighth. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
