OUR LONE STAR (4) has registered three minor placings from four runs this campaign. Settled a long way back before working home in good style to finish one length from the winner in second at the latest outing over 7½f at Bendigo. Faces an easier assignment so he is likely to play a big role. HARBOURMASTER (3) stepped up in trip to 1m3/4f last time at Geelong and ran below his best, finishing 6 lengths away in eighth. Goes well at this shorter journey so can atone. FIGO THE GREAT (9) was well below best last time when tenth at Pakenham Synthetic but change of rider. Previous form sound and may be worth another chance. BANNERTON (6) drifted back and never threatened when eighth last start over 1m2f at Mildura. Best figures measure up nicely. Solid top-three prospects.
