WARAKURNA (6) is a two-start maiden who looks close to a win after placing at both runs, the latest when second over 5f185yards at Wangaratta. Has upside and expected to run well again. EIRE TO THE JUNGLE (2) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was always well out of his ground over 5½f at Werribee, beaten 5.5 lengths into fifth. Steps up a level but he is worth another chance.
