DOLLY BOOM (7) resumed from a lay-off last start with a sound second over 5½f at Doomben after being in the firing line on the turn. Has the class to break through. HOME TOMURRA (1) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 5½f at Doomben when third, beaten 3. 5 lengths. Drawn out but a big run is anticipated. SAINT VIN ROUGE (4) is a well-related two-year-old colt lining up for the first time. By St Mark's Basilica from the former top race mare Cabernet who has produced some fine gallopers, including winners at black type level. Has only trialled once and was successful at Sunshine Coast Inner Track. Looks set to make a positive start to his career despite a tricky stall. WITHOUT SURRENDER (6) was unwanted in betting on debut last start but ran a strong race, finishing second and beaten half a length over 5f at Grafton. Has upside and must be respected.
