LAUNCHER (2) bounced back last start and landed the prize by 2 lengths after being prominent at the bend over 1m1f at Gold Coast. Nicely placed to take this out. TAP HIGH (5) will appreciate the step back in grade after finishing eighth last start over 1m2f at Doomben, that effort coming on the back of a win in a at this track. Anticipating sharp improvement. GOLDEN MIKKI (4) ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 7f at this track after being prominent at the bend. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. PECCAVI (10) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 10 lengths away in tenth over 1m1 1/2f at Newcastle. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
