MR HILTON (1) has raced twice. Was fourth on debut then clocked-in 1. 3 lengths from the winner in second last time out over 6f at Eagle Farm. Has a strong finish. Heading the right way and is expected to prove tough to beat. RUMBLE TOWN (19) got a long way back when 2 lengths from the winner in sixth over 6½f at Seymour last start, a less impressive effort than his fifth at Yarra Valley the run before. Finds a nice race and can get the job done. RISE AND RESIST (11) returns after five months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a fifth over 7f at Rockhampton. Good effort to kick-off last prep when in the money at this track over 6f. Tuned up with a fifth in a recent trial at Sunshine Coast Inner Track. Nicely placed and can get off the mark. BOOMTOWN LADDIE (8) will strip fitter for this after running below expectations when resuming at Doomben, finishing ninth and beaten 10 lengths over 6¾f. Nicely placed to turn things around.
