DIVINE DIAMONDS (2) was below her best last time, finishing eighth and beaten 5 lengths over 6¾f at Doomben after being in the firing line on the turn. Finds a more suitable contest and can bounce back. ECHO HUNTER (3) filled a minor placing in a at this track then met stiffer opposition in town last time when ninth over 6¾f at Doomben, beaten 3. 5 lengths. Better placed this time and can do much better. DECORATIVE (5) produced a good run two starts back to finish second but failed to live up to market expectations last time when out of the placings at Toowoomba over 6½f after she was prominent at the turn. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is one of the key runners. HEY CHARDONNAY (10) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing third and beaten only 1. 3 lengths over 7f at this track. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role.
