NINJITZOU (4) is going well and is knocking on the door, last time out finishing second over 7f at this track and only 2 lengths from the winner. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Among the leading chances. LUCONI (8) started at 7/2 last time and ran below expectations, finishing sixth and beaten 5 lengths at this track over 1m. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. FIFTH FORCE (5) finished sixth when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1m1/4f at Doomben, beaten 3 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Ideally placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. ADELAIDE GIRL (10) got off the mark when resuming from a lay-off over 6¾f at Doomben last start, scoring by a neck. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Re-unites with Rory Hutchings who was on board last start. This is tougher but she cannot be underestimated.
