KENSHIN MARU (1) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just two times from 33 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 1m2f at Gold Coast Poly, beaten 0.7 lengths. Worth noting Paul Hamblin goes aboard. Best figures measure up nicely. Makes plenty of appeal. TRAPEZE TORQUE (3) did well to score at this track two runs ago. Fair effort last time out when in contention on the corner before finishing fourth over 1m1f at this track, beaten 0.9 lengths. Nicely placed to take this out. PRINCETON AWARD (5) has not won for a long while. Last raced on September 13 when beaten 3 lengths into fifth at Gold Coast Poly over 1m2f. The engagement of Damien Thornton is a positive move. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot return to winning ways. LIKEABEEL (2) was a long way back last start but hit the line well to finish fourth, beaten 3.5 lengths, over 1m3f at Grafton. Among the chances and will be tough to stop.
