RISE OF THE MASSES (2) was only a long neck from the winner in second last time out in a small field over 6f at Gold Coast at the first run of the campaign on soft going. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Will give a great sight. DEMON AWARD (3) went fast early and went on to score by 2.75 lengths last time out over 6f at Rockhampton. Faces an easier assignment so he is all set to build on that latest effort. KAIZAD (5) is a four-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Jack Bruce barn. Finished off last campaign with a tenth at Ballarat seven months ago. Will strip fitter for a trial win and looks well placed. Can return with a bold run.
