SKIEDA (2) is a six-start maiden who filled a minor placing at this track at the last run before lay-offing. Ran fourth in a recent trial at Sunshine Coast Inner Track. Has ability and can hit the ground running this campaign. WIMOWEH (7) returns after four-and-a-half months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a seventh over 1m1f at Gold Coast. Tuned up with a fifth in a recent trial at Doomben. Has ability and is a leading player. FOR BETTER (6) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 7 lengths away in sixth over 6f at Doomben. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
