CHARMING NIC (1) raced in town last time and missed the frame, finishing fifth at Caulfield Heath and beaten 4.5 lengths. Must respect the stable decision to remove the blinkers. Major player. CHAPARRAL CHASE (3) was always well back over this course and distance last time and never threatened in the straight, beaten 6 lengths into fifth. Nicely placed to take this out. MAPLE DOOR (16) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing fourth and beaten only 1.4 lengths over 6¾f at Warwick. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. KETTLEBELL (11) turned in another moderate effort last start when 10 lengths from the winner in 12th over 6½f at Eagle Farm. Dale Smith gets the best out of this three-year-old filly. Has her share of ability and is a top-three prospect.
