SOCIALLY RED (12) finished off last campaign with a fourth over 5f at Bendigo on October 6 and has since switched trainers. Generally runs well when fresh, recording two minor placings from three runs. One of the main contenders. MAJOR LOOK (3) is yet to break through in 10 runs but has been thereabouts. Placed in a then was 1.5 lengths away in fifth over 6½f at Hawkesbury last time. Great chance to break through. SPRING BIRD (13) has switched yards since finishing sixth four weeks ago over 5f at this track. Can make her presence felt. EL QUINTO (9) raced on the pace last start before fading to finish sixth, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 6f at Toowoomba. Can do much better.
