ENCOURAGED (5) is fresh from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months and did hit the frame when last resuming at Pakenham Synthetic over 5f. In a different yard now. Placed in a recent trial. Looks set to run well for the new mentor. ZOUCHASE (11) showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish 1.3 lengths back in second over 5f at Gold Coast. Placed to advantage and can take this out. COLINTON (2) was in a rearwards position on the turn last time out before finishing 5.5 lengths from the winner in ninth over 6½f at Gold Coast. Expected to feature in the finish this time. RAGING (7) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when he was beaten 4 lengths into sixth over 4f at Warwick. Fitter this time will prove harder to beat.
