FRENCH EMPIRE (1) is a four-start maiden who has been in the money three times, Could only manage fifth last time out over 1m at Sunshine Coast Poly. Yet to miss the top-three in two runs at this circuit. Won't get too many better chances to break through. BOROGORU (3) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then was beaten 6 lengths when seventh over 7f at this track two-and-a-half weeks ago. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. READY TO DRINK (13) was in a rearwards position on the turn last time out before finishing 4.5 lengths back in sixth over 1m at Ballina. No surprise if she figured in the finish.
