KHANT QUIT (10) fought on for second last start over 1m1f at this track, making it three minor placings in a row. Has the speed to be prominent from the outset. Finds a suitable race and can make it to the winner's circle. MISS REILLY (6) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish fourth, beaten 2 lengths, over 7¾f at Murwillumbah. One of the main contenders. VANGUARD LEGEND (5) returns from a short break after finishing 14th over 6¾f at Ipswich a month ago. Fitness should hold up after a recent Gold Coast trial placing. Cannot be taken lightly.
