TORQUE TO BE SURE (2) ran well on debut last start to finish second over 5f at this track in a tougher race. Has plenty of upside so he is worth following up. COOL ARCHIE (1) was responsible for a solid effort last time out when second in the G3 BJ McLachlan Stakes at Eagle Farm over 6f, beaten 1.5 lengths. Should be at his peak now. Will find this easier than last start. Among the leading chances in this company. QUIETLY ARROGANT (6) was solid on debut last start when beaten 5 lengths into fourth over 5f at Randwick on December 21. Can figure in the finish. MIDNIGHT SPIRIT (4) pushed forward and was a determined winner by 1.3 lengths over 5f at Sunshine Coast on debut two weeks ago. Not to be discounted.
