BEWS (5) resumed over 6f at Doomben last start and after showing little early speed closed hard to score by 0.7 lengths. Ideally placed to feature again. I AM ARTIE (3) continues to race well with a win in a at Doomben before finishing a nose away in second last time over 6¾f at Doomben. Good record at this journey with five wins and a placing from seven starts and is sure to go well. OUR MAGNUS (8) sat on the pace last time and battled on well to finish a nose from the winner in second over 7f at Eagle Farm. Blinkers come off. Expected to be competitive. RALPHIE (4) was beaten 3.5 lengths into fifth in a 5f contest at Eagle Farm last time out. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
