ASHANKO (8) wasted no time getting off the mark on debut over 5f at this track three weeks ago. Promising type who can go back-to-back. QUADE (2) did a great job to score by 1.3 lengths over this course and distance last start in a far better run. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. MR ENCORE (4) was heavily backed and justified the support when resuming last start over 4f65yards at Gatton, scoring by a head. Will be better for that latest run and must be respected. PRINCE OF SOOVIEW (6) progressed nicely last time out to score by 2 lengths over 5½f at Gatton. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role.
