TERMAGANT (13) was a determined winner last time at this track, scoring by a long neck over this distance. Significant weight drop this time so she is among the leading chances again. BOLD COMIC (2) finished seventh two runs back at Rockhampton then improved last time out to score by 2.25 lengths as public elect after being prominent at the bend over 5½f at Mackay. Going up a level this time but he is up to the challenge. KING YOSHI (8) was in contention on the corner and finished third last start over 5f at this track, beaten 0.8 lengths. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals.
