SMOKE 'N' OAKUM (7) resumes from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months. Could only manage to finish fourth at the latest run over 1m at this track. Placed in a recent trial. Rates on top and is a great chance to break through. ITZA MOTZA (5) drifted back over 7f here last time before winding up late to finish fourth, beaten 0.7 lengths. Nicely placed and expected to go well. RICHKISS (14) was well fancied last time out but disappointed in finishing ninth over 5f at Gayndah, beaten 6 lengths. Solid top-three chance on her best figures. NATIONAL INTEREST (1) is fitter for two runs back from a lay-off, progressing nicely last time to finish second, beaten 0.8 lengths, at this track over 7f. Backmarker who gets home hard. Will be doing his best work late.
