MY ADDICTION (1) was prominent at the corner and ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 6½f at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. BORNINASMALLTOWN (2) returned from a lay-off four weeks ago when he was prominent at the bend before being beaten 6 lengths into fourth over 4½f at this track. This doesn't look as hard so he is a leading player. CHECKSFORCHARLIE (7) did a great job to score by 1.3 lengths over this course and distance last start in a much improved run. Likely to be there at the finish again. JAKE ON DAKAN (3) was safely held when resuming last start over 4½f at this track (Dirt), finishing sixth and beaten 8 lengths. Has a win and three minor placings at this journey from five starts and will be about the money.
