POWER NAP (3) turned in a fine effort to score by half a length at this track and distance last start in a much improved run. Meeting a tougher field but on her best form she is good enough to cope. EXTRA SPIRIT (6) showed good early muster and fought on to finish third when resuming last start over 5½f at Sunland Park (Dirt). Finds a more suitable contest and can get the chocolates. SALSA AMERICANA (7) has been freshened up since she finished eighth over 6f at Sunland Park (Dirt) seven weeks ago. Expecting a better run. PARK IN THE DARK (5) was in the firing line on the turn and finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 6½f at this track (Dirt), beaten 2.75 lengths. Tackling a deeper field this time but she is good enough to make a big impact.
