ABSTRACT KAT (6) finished fifth when resuming two runs back then progressed nicely last time out after being in the firing line on the bend to score by half a length over 6½f at Sunland Park (Dirt). It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is good enough to cope. RIG RIDER (2) was in the firing line all the way and fought on for second last start over 5½f at Sunland Park (Dirt), making it two minor placings in a row. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. BLACK EYED BANDIT (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6½f at this track, beaten 5.5 lengths into fourth. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. STRYDER (7) could only manage seventh two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 6½f at Sunland Park, beaten just one length. Suitably placed so he can be prominent again.
