HELLO HOT ROD (2) is a eight-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Dick Cappellucci yard. Finished off last campaign with a win at Remington Park (Dirt) 12 weeks ago. Not seen at the trials but is in a nice race. Leading prospect. ROCKS A BLACK SUIT (5) was well fancied when resuming but found one better at this track (Dirt), finishing half a length adrift at the end of 6½f. Will appreciate the extra ground. Expected to be in the finish again. KIRBY DERBY (6) is resuming from a lay-off of ten weeks and having his first run for the Dick Cappellucci yard. Was in the placings when when resuming from a lay-off last campaign at The Albuquerque Downs Racetrack & Casino (Dirt) over 1m.
