DIVINE FIRE (2) showed good early speed then led into the straight when fresh from a lay-off last start before fighting on to finish second, beaten half a length, over 6¾f at this track. Rates highly and will be hard to peg back. FINE ACE (5) did a great job to score by 3. 5 lengths over this course and distance last start in a far better run. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. AFFAIRE VUE (11) raced in town last time and missed the frame, finishing fifth at Morphettville and beaten 2. 5 lengths. Won't find this assignment as tough. Sure to be competitive. MORLAIX (9) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing second and beaten only 0. 7 lengths over 7½f at Gawler. Suitably placed so anticipating another bold showing.
