JUSTICA'S BONUS (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was never in contention over 4½f at Mt Gambier, beaten 3 lengths into seventh. Worth noting Caitlin Tootell goes aboard. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. LAKEHURST (13) made progress last start to finish second over 6f at Morphettville. Looks well placed so expect another big run. ASTRODEAN (5) was last at the races when he finished sixth over 1m at Balaklava on June 18. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. DODD (6) strode forward early from his wide draw over 6f at Murray Bridge last time, leading for much of the way before fading to finish fifth. Rates highly on best figures and has the blinkers removed. Should be in the finish.
