ANNANDA (11) improved last time out, finishing a long neck from the winner in second at the end of 1m at Murray Bridge after being in the firing line on the bend. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. EMPRESS OF SOUL (12) could only manage ninth on debut then improved last start but found a couple better over 6¾f at this track, beaten 1.1 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Looks well placed so expect another big run. ZOUNORMOUS (10) did little and finished 6 lengths from the winner in sixth over 1m at Penola last start, a less impressive effort than her fourth at Murray Bridge the run before. Must raise the bar but this looks well within her grasp. IRLANDAIS (3) finished 3 lengths from the winner in fourth at his most recent appearance over 1m at Penola. Worth including in this suitable contest.
