VALLE DI LUCE (5) gave away a considerable start over 1m at Pakenham last time before hitting the line well to finish fourth. Outdashed but got home well and appears suited by the longer journey. Expected to prove tough to stop. FAR FROM A CRY (8) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m4f at Geelong, beaten 2. 5 lengths into fourth after being in the firing line on the corner. Ideally placed and is sure to be there at the finish. NO SAVINGS (10) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when half a length away in second over 1m1 1/2f at Traralgon when she was handy all the way. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. DISCOBAY (7) was prominent at the turn and finished third last time over 1m3f at Donald, beaten 1. 2 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing. Placed to advantage and can fill another top-three spot.
