RIO CORRIENDO (6) finished 6 lengths away in seventh last time out over 7½f at Mornington two-and-a-half weeks ago. Steps up in distance. Will appreciate the drop in grade. Should be in the finish. SAINT WINIFRED (7) is coming along nicely with back-to-back minor placings, the latest when third over 1m1 3/4f at Yarra Valley at her third run in from a lay-off. Jackie Beriman stays aboard and although yet to win has been in the money on two occasions. Certainly one to consider. CLASSIC STORY (1) made progress last time out, finishing 4.5 lengths from the winner in third over 1m1f at Hanging Rock. Placed to advantage so anticipating another big run.
