SOUTHERN CRESCENT (10) lines up for the first time since September 22. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 5½f at Warrnambool. Capable of playing a major role. LONELY ONE (6) was well in commission when resuming last start over 4½f at Mt Gambier but could only manage fourth, although only 1. 2 lengths from the winner. Should camp just off the leaders. Best figures should see her run well. MY HARUCONI (8) missed the placings two runs back then got a long way back last start when 4 lengths away in ninth over 4½f at Mt Gambier. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. ZAMORA (3) broke his maiden four starts back and has not been far away since, most recently when beaten 1. 1 lengths into third over 6f at Dunkeld. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. One of the better hopes.
