SMART RETURN (8) pushed forward from a wide draw last time out and was prominent for a long way before fading to finish fourth over 5½f at Ararat. Expected to be in this for a long way. FROSTY DAWN (10) was below her best last time, finishing seventh and beaten 9 lengths over 6f at Geelong. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. NARALINGA (4) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at Murray Bridge. Couldn't follow that up last time out when fifth over 5f at Morphettville Parks, beaten 3.5 lengths. Ideally placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. CEEJAY (1) finished ninth two runs back then did well last start but found a couple better over 6f at Yarra Valley, beaten only a long neck. Looks to be in the right race so he should be in contention again.
