LAVANDULA (8) was far too good when resuming last start when she scored by 4 lengths over 5f at Ballarat. Has a perfect record over this journey and looms as the one to beat again. ETERNAL DARKNESS (4) showed good early dash and raced on the speed at the first run back from a break last start before fading to finish 0. 6 lengths back in fourth over 5f at this track. Will take some beating. ZEMGRINDA (3) built on a nice second when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at Echuca with a win over 5f122yards at Kilmore two weeks ago, getting home by 0. 8 lengths. Goes up a rung or two but he is up to the task. BLUE MOON SUMMIT (6) got off the mark over 5f at Tatura last start, scoring by 2. 25 lengths. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Mitchell Aitken was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. Must be respected now that the penny has dropped.
