VALLEY KING (4) settled well back when 5.5 lengths from the winner in sixth over 1m1/2f at Warrnambool last start, a less impressive effort than his fifth at Sandown-Hillside the run before. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is likely to play a big role. PLATINUM DESTROYER (9) was thereabouts two starts ago before a disappointing eighth most recently over 1m3 1/4f at Morphettville Parks. Will find this easier than last start. Has winning claims. PERFETTO (6) showed good early dash last time out and led for most of the way before being claimed and finishing a head away in second over 1m3 1/4f at Sale. Can feature in the finish.
