DUSTLAND FAIRYTALE (11) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Kilmore, beaten 4 lengths into fourth after being prominent at the corner. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. TRACK PATCHER (5) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when he was beaten 3.5 lengths into sixth over 7½f at Bendigo. Strips fitter and can play a big role.
