SHEER LUNACY (1) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Benalla, beaten 3.5 lengths. Fitter this time. Hard to beat in this suitable race. SONTAY (5) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 4 lengths when seventh in a 6f contest at Pakenham three-and-a-half weeks ago after being prominent at the bend. This is a nice drop in grade so she can find the winners' list. SNAPPY PIERRO (8) did little and finished 5.5 lengths from the winner in eighth over 7f58yards at Kyneton last start after being prominent at the corner, a less impressive effort than her sixth at Ballarat the run before. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. MEMORIES (14) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a seventh over 1m1/2f at Warrnambool after she got a long way back in the run. In the right race and should be competitive.
