DAWN SURPRISE (5) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 20 starts. Did a good job last start to finish second over 6f at this track, beaten one length. In the right race and there is no reason she cannot get the major prize. BOARDWALK BREEZE (4) landed his maiden success over this course and distance last time, scoring by 1.1 lengths. Shaping up nicely and he is one of the main chances. GOLDEN ASPEN (2) could only manage sixth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1m at Vaal, beaten only 1.5 lengths. It doesn't get any easier but on her best form she is capable of testing her rivals. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
